Divorce Document Preparation – Flat Fee Pricing
You will be provided comprehensive divorce document preparation services from start to finish for a flat fee of $2,250 (without children) or $2,500 (with children). This service is designed for individuals who want to navigate the divorce process efficiently and accurately, without the high costs of attorney representation.
What’s Included:
✔ Initial Consultation – I will assess your situation and guide you through the necessary paperwork.
✔ Preparation of All Required Divorce Documents– Including the Petition, Summons, Response, Financial Disclosures, Settlement Agreement Forms, and any other court-mandated forms.
✔ Filing with the Court – I handle the submission of documents to ensure compliance with court procedures.
✔ Service of Process – I will ensure that divorce papers are served properly.
✔ Financial Disclosures – Assistance with preparing and filing Schedule of Assets and Debts (FL-142) and Income and Expense Declaration (FL-150) along with other court- mandated forms.
✔ Judgment Package Preparation – Drafting and filing the final divorce judgment package based on your agreed-upon terms written with us or with your mediator.
✔ Court Follow-Ups – Monitoring the case status and addressing any court requests for additional information.
Additional Costs:
- Court Filing Fees: $1,100 (separate from my service fee, these fees are paid directly to the court by advancing them with your payment for services).
- Hourly Rate for Extended Time: The flat fee covers up to 12 hours of work. If the case requires additional time beyond this, clients will be billed at $150 per hour. To date no cases have taken more that the included 12 hours of time.
- Other Possible Expenses: Additional fees may apply for service of process, certified copies, or court-requested modifications. These are not standard in cases and are only per request.
